ADRP Volunteer Experience Enhanced

ADRP is dependent on volunteers to thrive. Our volunteers began this organization in 2004, ran all aspects of operations until the staff was hired in 2011, and now continue to create and manage ADRP programming.

We want it to be easy to volunteer for ADRP. We want our volunteers to enjoy the time they spend in service to the organization. And we want our volunteers to encourage others to participate in this great organization. To that end, we are announcing a new volunteer-focused resource. The Volunteer Management Coordinator (the Coordinator) will enhance the ADRP volunteer experience and assist in the development and maintenance of our volunteer pipeline.

The Coordinator will help volunteers find roles that fit their interests, evaluate volunteer experiences through surveys and conversations, and assist in the implementation of improvements to volunteer roles.

We are pleased to announce that Megan McAndrews, long-time ADRP member and former director, will serve as the inaugural coordinator. Megan is “excited to be working with ADRP once again and helping other volunteers find their place in the organization.”

Look for enhanced volunteer resources to be introduced over the coming months.

If you wish to volunteer with the organization, please contact the Office.
