 Eleven Fifty Seven Award Winner We are proud to announce Sidney Tolani as our 2020 Eleven Fifty Seven Design Concepts Awardee. Sidney is a Development Specialist at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Sidney is in the early stages of her professional career but has already taken many strides to bring her talent and energy to the field. She is currently pursuing an MBA with a Healthcare Administration emphasis, so that, as she states, “can continue to work hard for my organization to the best of my abilities.” Sidney is excited to become an ADRP member and enjoy this year’s virtual event. She looks forward to connecting with colleagues to learn how they have transformed their in-person communication to technology-based communication. Sidney also brings with her a dedication to diversity, equity and inclusion and says, “I believe that embracing diversity, equity and inclusion is how we intentionally create a space for positive outcomes to thrive. Every day I aspire to make sure that different voices are heard in my office and that my colleagues feel respected and valued in this environment.  About Our Scholarship With the COVID-19 health crisis sweeping across the globe, we know how challenging these coming weeks and months will be. In our unrelenting effort to support donor relations professionals' growth, we are providing membership assistance to those in need during this unprecedented crisis to give those an opportunity to attend our 2020 virtual event, ADRP Zooms In: Exploring a New World of Donor Relations. This year, we have transitioned our Sheryl A. Blair Scholarships into membership scholarships to those in need, so they may attend our virtual event and benefit from our many other resources.  The deadline for submitting an application was Wednesday, September 9. Is currently working or has worked (in the last 6 months-year) in a fundraising, development, or advancement capacity.Is currently holding or has held (in the last 6 months-year) a position focused mainly on donor relations or stewardship.Renewing, lapsed, and new members may apply. Selection DetailsThe Blair Scholarship Committee will review applications after the extended deadline of Wednesday, September 9. Applicants will be notified of their status in mid-September.  Selected Applicants Recipients will receive a one year membership, a digital scholarship certificate, and an exclusive invitation to a Zoom Happy Hour taking place before our virtual event.  Application PreparationPlease consider the following questions in preparation for submitting your application.
