About the Webinar

Do you have hundreds (thousands?) of major donors who are not in the current pipeline but who will be in the future? You want to keep them happy and engaged so they say yes to that next gift, but how can you steward everyone when the pool is so large? At Meridian Health Foundation, we piloted two initiatives to tackle this challenge: individual stewardship plans and personalized stewardship tracks. Using both, we can now steward all our top donors in a personal way. This webinar will help you overcome that hurdle of “too many donors, not enough resources” and demonstrate how to create individual stewardship plans that are truly custom for x-number of major donors, and personalized stewardship tracks that trigger simple, easy touches for everyone else - together giving all of your major donors the care and attention they deserve.

Learning Objectives:

1. Attendees will learn that successful stewardship, whether for an individual or a group, requires us to make every donor feel that we truly know them and their motivations for giving.
2. We will learn that keeping it simple and making it personal are keys to successfully involving your relationship managers in stewardship activities.
3. The webinar will also demonstrate that with a little creativity, shop size is not necessarily a barrier to doing good (great!) stewardship, especially for major donors.

Cheryl Lintner leads donor relations for seven hospital foundations under the Meridian Health Foundation, part of Hackensack Meridian Health, where she has worked to grow a donor relations program that includes multiple, recurring touches for all donors and an emphasis on major donor stewardship.
