Keri Kallaway

Dear fellow ADRPers,

April is a special month, specifically the days of April 18–24. It is when we are able to pay special tribute to those who serve our association—our esteemed volunteers. It’s National Volunteer Week!

I am fortunate to have volunteered for ADRP in multiple ways. Volunteerism has allowed me to grow in my craft and mature as a professional. And equally as important, I feel I’ve had an impact on this family of donor relations experts and made friends that will last a lifetime.

I invite you to jump in. Roll up your sleeves, learn, grow and give back. ADRP needs you. We have an ambitious plan for our future and we can’t be successful without volunteers.

More Than Words: Supporting Volunteers By Helping Them Stay Connected

Suzanne Bellanger
Assistant Director, Stewardship Marketing
Brown University

Where would we be without our volunteers? They play an integral role in generating support and helping us achieve our fundraising goals. The most effective volunteers are the ones who feel appreciated and can see the value they’re adding. At Brown, that means—in part—providing them with tools and resources they need to effectively engage with contacts, track personal fundraising and group goal progress, and celebrate their successes.
