This session will be an overview of the following topics: Annual meetings with development staff at the faculty/unit to review the overall Donor Relations strategies for their individual donors and organizations. -Annual meetings with senior staff to review the personalized Donor Relations report for each of the principal gift donors - Donor Recognition Plans for gifts of $1 Million plus which is shared with the donor -Implementation of the strategies identified - Donor Recognition Reports that we share with donors $1 Million plus after the strategies have been implemented

Veronica Stoiber

Veronica Stoiber Veronica Stoiber currently holds the position of Director, Donor Relations & Stewardship at Western University (overseeing the areas of financial and impact reporting, donor correspondence, acknowledgment and recognition, donor agreements, student awards, etc.) Prior to that, she spent over seven years at United Way London & Middlesex as Associate Director, Major Gifts, where she has also served as Associate Director of Individual Giving and Manager, Special Events. In addition to United Way, her work experience includes multiple international outreach roles with the Universidad de las Americas in Puebla, Mexico; and as a Fellowship Ambassador with Walt Disney World in Orlando. Veronica has a BA in Mass Communications from the Universidad de las Americas-P. a diploma in International Competence from the University of Regensburg in Germany and a Professional Certificate in Business Writing and Communications from Western University. 

Susan Rhuman

Susan Rhuman Alumni Relations & Development Officer at Western University, has over 19 years of experience in Donor Relations. Her current areas of expertise include physical naming opportunities, donor agreements, stewardship impact reporting and systems work. Prior to this position, she focused on student award and financial reporting to donors. Susan has a Master of Library and Information Science from Western University.
