2018 ADRP International Conference Speaker RFP

We are very excited to share the Request for Presentations for the 15th Annual ADRP International Conference in St. Louis, Missouri, October 3-5, 2018. This year’s conference tagline, “A Gateway to Good,” calls out St. Louis’ iconic Gateway Arch and ties it to the underlying conference theme of social justice and how our work can and does advance it.   

This is the largest international conference dedicated to Donor Relations and Stewardship. Your knowledge will help other professionals, whether they are just starting in the field or are experienced in several areas of philanthropy. We want you to be a part of this! Submit your proposal to present at the ADRP International Conference!

We are seeking presenters who will deliver great ideas, challenge norms, lead the way in our profession, and speak to varying experience levels, shop sizes, and institution types. We welcome your ideas for discussions and presentations about topics that are ever-present in our profession, including:

  • Acknowledgement
  • Reporting 
  • Recognition
  • Donor engagement
  • Individual stewardship plans 
  • Stewardship events
  • Gift documentation & agreements
  • Gift acceptance & management
  • Campaign stewardship

We invite proposals for presentations pertaining to the following:

  • Diversity and inclusion: Looking at new ways to celebrate diversity and promote equity and inclusion with our colleagues, constituents, and donors. 
  • Gender and sexual identity: Examining their impact on philanthropy and on our work to support it.

We also invite your expertise on topics including but not limited to:

  • Sector-specific matters in the fields of education, healthcare, and others
  • Professional development, talent management, and career growth
  • Research, trends, metrics, and data analysis
  • Effective visual representation of data
  • Segment-specific matters for principal giving, major giving, annual/leadership giving, Giving Tuesday, etc.
  • Social media
  • Donor portals and microsites
