At the University of California San Diego, we were challenged to implement 100 salon events in 12 months. To meet this goal, we created many tools, trained and coached our staff, and built a nimble model that shops of every size can learn from. Donor events are an important donor engagement tool, and one that provides donor relations staff an opportunity to provide leadership to their institutions. This session will discuss strategy, how to create desired outcomes, the use of metrics, sample programs and tips to enhance/improve existing events
