Updates about the Rio:

ADRP staff learned on June 11th that two out of town guests at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, one in March and one in April, contracted Legionnaire’s disease. Their only commonality was staying at the Rio. They both fully recovered and no other cases are known. The Nevada Health Department checked the Rio’s water source and found trace amounts of the bacteria. The hotel promptly disinfected the entire water system and the property has remained open for business as usual with no additional reports of health issues.

ADRP is 100% confident that the hotel is safe and there is no issue now, nor will there be in September. We immediately notified ADRP members for full transparency and because we feel there is nothing to hide. We look forward to another terrific ADRP conference.
