Donor relations and stewardship folks tend to arrive at this destination via all types of seemingly circuitous routes. Once ensconced, they quickly discover that, across the profession, there is little consistency in job titles, responsibilities, or expectations. This master class will include an overview of conducting a program assessment, engaging in strategic planning, with a special focus on concierge donor stewardship initiatives, managing expectations and resources, getting a seat at the table, and becoming an advocate for your donors. Through hands-on, case study analysis, you will have an opportunity to begin to shape executable action steps—laying the groundwork for how you can move forward when you return to the office. Content will be tailored to registrants' interests and concerns.
