If you have been in the donor relations professions for more than a hot minute, chances are good that you have been asked to develop a "strategic" plan. This can be a fantastic experience. By the same token, it can also be a frustrating and disappointing experience, particularly if leadership isn't particularly well versed in what it means to think, plan, and act strategically vs. tactically. It happens. In this session, we will explore what it means to do both. If you are new to the process or simply need an opportunity to look at the experience with fresh eyes, please join us for an honest and entertaining look at what it means to put your plans to paper, and from paper to practice.
