What's Trending? #recognition: The Un-Session. What is an "Un-Session?" The "Un-Session" format was designed to allow attendees to ask their burning questions and connect with like-minded practitioners. Expect skilled facilitators to encourage lively discussions, invite participants to speak their minds, and manage the time the group spends on the discussion of each question. Attendees can prepare for the session by making a list of their questions and coming to the session with an open mind. Participants will also want to bring a notebook and jot down the names of colleagues to stay in touch with after the conference is over.

Looking for a different Un-Session? The other topics to be offered are: Campaign Planning, Climbing Up (Leadership), Healthcare, Large Decentralized Institutions, Membership Organizations, Principal-Level Donors, Virtual Audiences/Social Media, What's Trending? #recognition

What's new in the world of recognition? What's tried and true? How and when does technology come into play? What are the current trends and best practices? This facilitated discussion will revolve around real life examples. We will support conversation about how to make recognition meaningful. We will share and encourage stories of challenges, solutions and successes. Learn from each other about what it means to develop a culture of recognition at your institution. We hope to leave attendees inspired to reinvent the way they think about recognition.
