You never thought this day would arrive - the end of your fundraising campaign. Now...how do you celebrate the past while moving toward the future? This session will look into how the University of Nebraska celebrated the culmination of a multi-year, multi-campus $1.8 billion capital campaign. This session will share the joys and dilemmas of celebrating the campaign across four different campuses (with campus-specific events) while still holding a signature event celebrating the university system in its entirety. The goal was to successfully execute these five events in a one month time frame, utilizing internal planning teams and outside vendors while creating meaningful ways to thank our donors and celebrate impact. Learn what went well, what could have gone better and what could be done differently next time around.
