2017 ADRP International Conference

Las Vegas is the largest city in the state of Nevada. Nicknamed "The Entertainment Capital of the World,", it is situated in the Mojave Desert of Southern Nevada. The city features many mega-hotel/casino complexes, lavishly and shamelessly adorned with attention to detail creating a fantasy-like environment. The casinos and hotels evoke romance, mystery, and exotic destinations. You can travel the world in Vegas while you are at the 2017 ADRP International Conference!

Known for its endless buffets, your taste for food or adventure will be quenched with so many dining options. Make sure you take advantage of some of our 14 dine-around offerings (to coincide with our 14th Annual International Conference) to connect with fellow ADRP members, presenters, and sponsors or find another taste opportunity by visiting The Foodie Fantasy.

We know that the “strip” offers all the BRIGHT LIGHTS but so does the Neon Sign Museum. Have you signed up for your tour with ADRP? This is just one of the historic attractions. Vegas is rich in history, intrigue, and fascination. Read more about the history, then make sure to join our Mob Museum tour

After the magic of hundreds of colleagues sharing “Big Opportunities” in Donor Relations and Stewardship, like recognition, best practices, and acknowledgement, you might want to sit back, relax, and experience a different kind of magic! And Vegas' headliners deliver in spades.

Acts like Penn & Teller bring a healthy dose of humor to the mix, with other performers sizzling up their acts with stunning magicians' assistants. There are acrobats, concerts, comedy, drama, and no fewer than SEVEN different Cirque du Soleil shows to enhance your Vegas experience!

Expand your knowledge with an ADRP Master Class, expand your skills with a hands on session or brainstorming over lunch with new ADRP connections and vendors, and then expand your Las Vegas experience with golf, tennis, hiking, biking, extreme sports, boating, water skiing, snowboarding, and sightseeing. Vegas is right in the middle of the incredible Mojave Desert with unique climate, challenges, and beauty.

But if it’s shopping you prefer, then get your comfy shoes, grab your ADRP mentor/mentee or a new ADRP friend, and start walking! New York. London. Paris. They've got nothing on Las Vegas! Some of the most spectacular shopping in the world can be found at Crystals at CityCenter, The Forum Shops at Caesars, The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian/The Palazzo, The Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, and on and on.

This time, what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas.

As we gather from afar in Las Vegas this September, we look forward to examining our profession through a global lens to find big-picture opportunities, keep up with trends, and return home with bright ideas to implement.
