ednesday, September 17
4:00 - 5:00 PM

When tragedy strikes, donors want to help those most impacted. The Navy League found itself in this scenario on September 16, 2013 after the tragedy at the Washington Navy Yard. This session will address how to know your organization is the right one to respond, review the pros and cons of prior survivor fund structures, address partnerships with other national and local organizations, donor solicitation and stewardship for corporations and individuals, and finally how to work with the surviving family members.
