Andrea Detter

Andrea Detter is the deputy editor on the Communications and Marketing team at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She has been writing and editing donor communications, including progress reports, proposals, correspondence, and event materials, for eight years. As both a science geek and a word nerd, she enjoys translating the complexities of the biomedical research world into compelling stories for lay audiences, particularly current and prospective donors. Andrea has been at Fred Hutch for 13 years.


Tori Quiles


Tori Quiles is the Senior Director, Benefactor Relations, Development at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Tori’s team is responsible for all cultivation and stewardship activities, fundraising and cultivation events, endowment reporting, and tracking restricted contributions. Additionally Tori manages Fred Hutch’s Board of Ambassadors. Tori has worked in Development at Fred Hutch for 18 years.
