About the Webinar

The traditional model of printed impact reports is becoming increasingly more challenging to execute. Between remote work and donors wary of print materials due to COVID-19, now is the time to make the leap to digital reports. But, how do you make the case to leadership? How do you inform donors of your change in practice? What is the best way to implement a new process? Learn from the team at the Indiana University Foundation about their partnership with Ovrture and how they worked to effectively make the case, how they smoothly transitioned to a digital solution, and how their donors are reacting to a custom digital stewardship report.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn how to successfully transition from print to digital impact reports
  2. Learn how to manage internal business practices to make the digital shift in a methodical way
  3. Learn how best to inform donors of your change from print to digital

Speakers

Ann Bunjan, Indiana University Foundation

Ann Bunjan is the Manager of Stewardship at the Indiana University Foundation. In this role, Ann oversees the IU Foundation acknowledgment program that centrally sends out weekly thank you letters on behalf of senior leadership for all gifts over $1,000, annual reporting to all IU Foundation account holders, and central stewardship of IU Foundation scholarship recipients.

Ann began her career at the IU Foundation in 1998, writing thank you letters for the IU President for gifts of $25,000 and above.  As the department evolved and grew, Ann’s responsibilities did so as well.  She has witnessed donor relations and stewardship grow from a two-person team, who tried to remember everything about everyone, to the more than seven staff members, with the technological advances we have today, to provide exceptional and personalized care for our donors.

Beth Hailer, Indiana University Foundation

Beth Hailer is the Senior Director of Donor Engagement at the Indiana University Foundation where she leads the Donor Relations and Stewardship teams. This talented group of professionals creates personalized and unique communications, impact stories, events, gifts and activities for donors to feel connected to and appreciated by Indiana University. Beth has 24 years of experience as a frontline fundraiser and nonprofit manager in the arts, health and human services and higher education. Throughout her career, she has excelled at building long-term relationships that weave passion with philanthropic impact for her community and beyond.
