About the Webinar

The prevalence of Donor Relations in charitable organizations of all sizes has increased significantly over the past decade, as most now know that the highest-performing fundraising operations are built and sustained through strong Donor Relations programs. Understanding the fundamentals of Donor Relations is essential to the beginner Donor Relations professional, particularly in small shops and larger organizations that are just beginning this work. This session will define the purpose and scope of Donor Relations, from acknowledgments to stewardship, to meaningful recognition and engagement. We will cover some first steps to take when creating your program, answering the question "Where do I begin?", and share examples of what has worked when developing high-performing Donor Relations programs from the ground up at the Canadian Cancer Society and Kids Help Phone.

  2. To learn how to get started when you're at an organization that needs a Donor Relations program to be built from the ground up.
