Discover your Creative Flow with Jeff Harry

As you may now know, Jeff Harry is our featured keynote speaker. We are positively giddy at the opportunity to hear and learn from a renowned speaker who has worked with Google, Microsoft, and Amazon and has been featured in the NY Times, Wired, and NPR.

We'll learn about the science behind flow/play and how it affects our productivity and focus, practice positive psychology techniques that help connect our work to purpose; and identify our play values and learn how they can be utilized to tap into our zone of genius.

To learn more about Jeff and his power to unleash our inner child, visit rediscoveryourplay.com

As we strive to make the conference unforgettable, we look forward to announcing additional special guests, including leaders from the NCAA and Visit Indy, who will join us on the main stage to celebrate ADRP and your tremendous impact on philanthropy.

 Philanthropy Powerhouse:
ADRP x Lilly School of Philanthropy

ADRP prides itself on delivering robust content curated by a wide range of presenters and special guests; this conference is no exception.

We are pleased to partner with Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy to add another layer of depth to our conference experience this year.

As a leading institution dedicated to advancing philanthropic knowledge and practice, its expertise has significantly shaped the giving landscape. This collaboration enriches our event with diverse perspectives and promises to deepen our understanding and impact within the philanthropic community.

Faculty from the Lilly Family School will present on donor motivations and trends in fundraising:

Trends in Fundraising with Bill Stanczykiewicz, Senior Assistant Dean for External Relations, Clinical Associate Professor, Director, The Fund Raising School

Fundraisers bring a wealth of expertise and experience to their work, but many rarely have time to explore what new developments in fundraising mean for their organization. Receive updates on the latest information and research about charitable giving, including newly released Giving USA data, as well as data on donor-advised funds, planned giving, digital fundraising, and crowdfunding. Learn practical ways to incorporate this new knowledge into your fundraising strategies.

Donor Motivations with Genevieve Shaker, Associate Professor of Philanthropic Studies and Donald A. Campbell Chair in Fundraising Leadership

Research about donor motivations can help fundraisers decode donors’ multi-faceted inclinations and behaviors and plan targeted cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship approaches. This session will include information on the eight mechanisms of donor motivations.  Genevieve will lead an examination of the drivers of charitable giving and present a strategy for positioning donors within the organization’s overall constituency.

While we are thrilled to highlight our collaboration with the Lilly Family School, we also acknowledge that the core of our conference is shaped by volunteer presenters who generously share their time, resources, and talents to enrich our collective efforts. We are equally excited about our esteemed lineup of speakers, many of whom are among you, and we look forward to engaging in discussions that ignite transformative change.
