We are very excited to share the Request for Presentations for ADRP’s 2017 International Conference, Sept. 26-28 in Las Vegas. This year’s theme, Bright Lights Big Opportunities, is an opportunity for us to explore our profession through a global lens. We are pleased to bring speakers who have vast experience working with donors from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, and who will share a diverse array of viewpoints and expectations about philanthropy and the institutions with which they are engaged.

 

We will examine all of this!

But, we need your help. We welcome your ideas for discussions and presentations to complement our framework:

  • working with and across cultural, social, and economic differences
  • building and strengthening donor relationships in a globalized world
  • professional development and career planning for new and seasoned professionals

We also invite your expertise about topics that are ever-present in our profession, including:

  • acknowledgement & recognition
  • gift documentation & agreements
  • gift management
  • giving societies
  • institutional-specific matters, e.g. arts organizations don’t have same concerns as healthcare

The RFP submission period has passed, thanks to all who submitted a session proposal!

Sessions will be selected by the conference committee and notification made by April 3, 2017. Presenters will work with our coaching group to help ensure strong session presentations and will be expected to meet materials deadlines.
